If you've said any of these out loud

"I don't even know where they're behind."

"I've been out of school too long."

"I'm horrible at math."

"We've tried everything and nothing sticks."

"I was so close and still didn't pass."

"I just need someone to tell me the truth."

Let's find out what's actually going on — and what to do next.

Who it's for

Middle school through college. Adult learners too.

GED & high school equivalency students

Adults and older teens ready to finish what school didn't.

HESI, GRE & entrance/placement test-takers

You've studied. The score still isn't there. Let's figure out why.

Middle & high school students

Math, reading, writing, STEM, study skills, test-taking — the stuck spots.

Homeschool students

Transitioning back into public school, or just trying to spot the real gaps.

College-level students & adult learners

Returning to school, juggling a course load, or rebuilding the basics.

Parents who need a straight answer

An honest read on where your student is — and what support actually makes sense.

Not sure if it's math, test anxiety, or missing foundations?

That's exactly what we figure out first. We look at the real obstacle, then build the next right step.

How we start

Three steps. No fluff.

1

Tell me what's going on.

A few honest sentences. Where you are, what's frustrating you, what you're trying to do.

2

We identify what's missing.

I'll look at the real picture — skills, history, habits, test results — not just the symptom.

3

I recommend the right next step.

Tutoring, test prep, GED study group, study strategy, or another support option that fits.

GED & high school equivalency

You've been carrying this for years. Let's actually finish it.

GED prep is still a major part of what I do. Some folks I work with left school last month. Some five years ago. Some left thirty. Doesn't matter. What matters is you're still here, still thinking about it, still willing to try.

  • Real diagnostic of where you are on each GED subject.
  • Math and reading re-taught from the ground up, in plain English.
  • Test-taking strategy so the test stops feeling like a trap.
  • Honest accountability — I'll check in, I won't let you ghost your goal.

Get your GED Planner

Tell me a little about where you are. I'll send the GED Planner by email, and you'll have the option to follow up with Ms. Rollins for a recommended next step.

Prefer email? Write directly to cherise@risestudystudio.com.

After you submit, check your email for the GED Planner. If you want help figuring out what to do next, you can reply or complete the contact form. I personally review inquiries and follow up as I'm able.

For parents

I'll tell you the truth about your child — so you can actually help them.

You're the one who notices the slow shutdown at the kitchen table. The "I'm fine" that isn't fine. The grade that doesn't match the effort. You've probably been handed a lot of polite answers that didn't move anything forward.

I'll give you the honest feedback you need to help your child — what I'm actually seeing, what's working, what isn't, and what to do next. Homeschool, ESA, public school, after-school — I work with all of you.

In their words

From students and parents I've worked with.

"Your class really helped me prepare for college, and I'm so grateful for everything you taught me."

Jess F., GED graduate accepted to Concordia University Irvine

"I would not have been able to pass all my tests or be where I am today without your help and consistent encouragement."

Teresa E., GED graduate

"I probably wouldn't have ever even attempted to become a graduate if it wasn't for being in your class."

Andreah V., GED graduate

"She didn't really feel prepared to pass the math test, but she passed it the first try. Thank you so much for all your help, support, and encouragement. She couldn't have done this without you."

Candice B., Parent

About

Hi, I'm Ms. Cherise Rollins.

Arizona-certified instructor with a STEM background, engineering degree, and MBA — with experience supporting middle school through college-level students and adult learners. I've worked with adults returning to school after decades away, homeschool kids who'd been written off, and middle and high schoolers who'd been told one too many times that they "just aren't a math person."

Students, parents, and adults call me Ms. Rollins when I'm in teacher mode. That's where I do my best work — naming what's actually going on, teaching the thing clearly, and staying in your corner until it sticks.

Real talk. Real plan. Real progress. No fluff.
